How has resource use in Australia changed over time, and what impact has this had on our environmental footprint?
- What were common energy, water, and waste practices 100 years ago?
- How do these practices compare to how we use resources today?
- What effects have these changes had on the size of Australia's environmental footprint?
Task 3
How can individuals and communities reduce their environmental footprint, and which actions are most effective and fair?
- What are some strategies people can use to reduce energy, water use, and waste both at home and at school?
- How can technology and creative solutions help us shrink our footprints? (Use digital tools to research and present findings)
- Are there actions that are easier or harder for different people or communities to take? Why is it important to consider fairness (Ethical Understanding) when making suggestions?
