How long does it take Cool.org to process my accreditation?
The Cool team processes TQI course completions in batches each Thursday. From the Thursday after you complete your course (and once we have your TQI number), it should take no more than ten business days for your accredited hours to appear in your TQI portal.
When will my TQI accreditation appear in my TQI portal?
Once Cool.org has logged your completion with TQI, your accredited hours should appear in your TQI portal within ten business days. This timing allows for Cool.org’s weekly batch processing and TQI’s own processing time.
What do I need to provide to Cool.org?
To have your accredited hours logged with TQI, we need your six‑digit TQI teacher number.
The easiest way to provide this is to add it to the 'My Details' section of your Cool.org personal dashboard:
- Log in to your Cool.org account
- Go to your personal dashboard
- Enter your six‑digit TQI number in the relevant field and save.
What do I need to do once I finish the course?
If your six‑digit TQI number is saved in your Cool.org personal dashboard, you do not need to do anything further.
Cool.org will:
- Confirm your completion
- Include your details in our next Thursday batch submission to TQI
- Ensure your accredited hours appear in your TQI portal within ten business days of that batch submission.
💡 If your TQI number is missing or incorrect, your hours cannot be logged, so it’s important to update your details before or immediately after you complete the course.
Can I log the course as relevant, teacher-identified learning instead?
Yes! Our courses are mapped to the Australian Professional Teacher Standards (AITSL), and your completion can be logged as elective PD hours with your state's teaching regulatory authority. To do this, grab your certificate of completion from your personal dashboard once the course is complete.
How long do I have to log my 2025 hours?
The cutoff for logging 2025 professional learning hours with TQI is 31 March 2026. This means all 2025 PL, including Cool.org accredited courses, should be recorded in your TQI portal by that date.
What should I do if my hours haven’t appeared after ten business days?
If more than ten business days have passed since the Thursday after you completed the course (and your TQI number is correctly saved in your Cool.org dashboard):
- First, check your TQI portal to confirm whether the hours have appeared under your professional learning record
- Then, confirm your TQI number is correct in your Cool.org dashboard
- If still not visible, contact Cool.org support with your full name, TQI number, course title and completion date so we can investigate and, if needed, resubmit your completion.
