Lentils, chickpeas, buckwheat or other similar seed. Use about 5-10 as some will not germinate

Tips for Parents and Carers

It is an interesting experiment to see how our food grows, before it reaches our plate. In this activity, use seeds that they are familiar with eating so that they can think about the process as a whole.
