This activity is designed to help connect children to the wonders of the natural world and develop mindful awareness of their surrounding environment.

While you walk around the garden with your kids, draw their focus to various objects by saying things like; “Look. The tree has yellow leaves” or “I can smell a beautiful rose”.

Learning@Home from Cool Australia

Learning@Home resources are designed for parents and teachers to use with children in the home environment. They can be used as stand alone activities or built into existing curriculum-aligned learning programs. Our Learning@Home series includes two types of resources.
