With over a decade of experience in primary education, alongside roles in the sports industry and People and Culture within the corporate sector, Julia Delaney is a passionate advocate for wellbeing. As her children can confirm from her morning “Ted Talks,” she believes wellbeing is built through small, daily actions and sees it not as a fixed state but as an ongoing journey requiring consistent attention. Her special interests lie in neurodiversity, belonging, inclusion, and fostering thriving team cultures in schools, helping teachers build supportive, connected environments where both staff and students can flourish.
At Grow Your Mind, Julia helps lead the development of curriculum and professional learning experiences, ensuring schools have practical ways to embed mental health education in everyday learning. She thrives on connection—whether that’s meaningful conversations with educators, a cheeky chat with the team, or a swim in the ocean. With a love of tea, laughter, kitchen discos and a well-told story, she’s all about making wellbeing both meaningful and fun.
