Cool.org has worked with Science & Technology Australia to create teacher and learning resources to introduce your students to the Superstars of STEM. These fact sheets come with vocabulary and comprehension questions and are perfect for English, Science, Maths or Design and Technology. Some are short and snappy, some are longer and more technical to cater to a range of abilities.
Dr. Jodie Pestana is a behavioural neuroscientist. Her work focuses on the amygdala, the emotional alarm centre of the brain. She explores the reasons why the amygdala sends out an anxiety alarm at different times in our lives.
