Cool.org has worked with Science & Technology Australia to create teacher and learning resources to introduce your students to the Superstars of STEM. These factsheets come with vocabulary and comprehension questions and are perfect for English, Science, Maths or Design and Technology. Some are short and snappy, some are longer and more technical to cater to a range of abilities.
Kira Hughes is an aerobiologist at Deakin University. She studies pollen, one of the main causes of hay fever in Australia. Her research includes the development of a tiny sensor to help manage the effects of thunderstorm asthma events.
