Cool.org has worked with Science & Technology Australia to create teacher and learning resources to introduce your students to the Superstars of STEM. These factsheets come with vocabulary and comprehension questions and are perfect for English, Science, Maths or Design and Technology. Some are short and snappy, some are longer and more technical to cater to a range of abilities.
Dr. Renee Goreham is a physicist and nanotechnologist at the University of Newcastle. She uses nanomaterials to help solve major global health problems. Her latest goal is to build a noninvasive breathalyser that can detect lung cancer before any symptoms appear.
