Students will explore how batteries store and release energy, and why they are important for making renewable energy more reliable. They will investigate how battery storage supports Australia’s energy transition and the roles people play in designing and managing these systems. To apply their learning, students will design and present a proposal for a school energy system that uses renewable energy and battery storage to benefit their community.
