Lesson Summary
Students will identify opportunities for First Nations entrepreneurs and job seekers to benefit from the growth of clean energy projects in First Nations communities and around Australia. They will explore the many opportunities clean energy provides for First Nations people in regional and remote locations where many of the projects will be located, and will create a job profile for a future clean energy role.
Learning intentions
Students will:
- identify emerging clean-energy careers and understand the skills needed for these pathways
- evaluate how clean-energy jobs strengthen community wellbeing and sustainability.
Success criteria
Students can:
- describe several clean-energy careers and the skills involved
- explain how First Nations leadership and enterprise shape opportunities in the sector
- produce a clear career pathway profile or pitch.
