Contributing to Battery Safety in Our Community

Students will learn how local government provides waste and recycling services to keep communities safe and healthy. They will explore why batteries require special handling and how these services rely on responsible community participation. Students will identify actions they can take to support safe battery disposal and apply their learning by creating simple messages that encourage others to make safe choices.
