Flipped Classroom - Lab Safety 101

The first part of this lesson is designed to be flipped so that students learn new content by watching a video in their own time. This strategy provides the opportunity for students to build their knowledge, attitudes and values by themselves, thereby freeing up class time for hands-on work. Furthermore, students learn how to be safe in a school lab so that science experiments can be conducted. They then create a poster that clearly communicates one lab safety rule.
