Students will explore how strong emotions can build in situations such as stress, conflict and social pressure, and how these can lead to impulsive reactions. They will identify personal activators and examine how emotions escalate through body signals, thoughts and behaviours. Students will learn the difference between reacting and responding, and practise strategies to pause and make more intentional choices. They will then develop a personalised plan to manage big feelings, and respond in ways that support positive relationships and outcomes.
