Students learn about how the heart works and why it’s important for keeping us healthy. They explore how to find and measure their pulse, comparing their heart rate when at rest and after physical activity such as skipping. Students discuss how being active helps strengthen the heart and supports overall wellbeing.
Students work together to plan and create a whole-school Skip-Off event. They develop ideas to inspire others to get involved, promote heart health, and celebrate being active through fun skipping challenges.
