Lesson Summary
Students will test and assess their assistive devices against a set of criteria that they have created. They will test and evaluate their devices, developing an understanding of assessment as a vital part of the design process. Students will learn how to give and receive feedback and constructive criticism in order to iterate and improve their designs.
Learning intentions
Students will:
- identify safety risks and ways to mitigate those risks
- construct their designed device.
Success criteria
Students can:
- review the results of their assistive process, and identify strengths and weaknesses in their design
- iterate their design based on feedback from an assistive process.
