Bee-ing a Citizen Scientist

This unit for year 7 science will get your students bee-ing curious about the native pollinators of Australia. Through a sequence of 5 lessons, students will explore how energy flow is facilitated in food webs through pollinators, apply dichotomous keys to identify and describe pollinators, and discover how citizen science can create evidence that shapes scientific knowledge.
