The Civics and Citizenship Unit has been designed to understand the role of government, institutions, and citizens in improving society for all. The unit uses character stories from the documentary film Life After The Oasis to help students engage with the issue of youth homelessness in Australia. The unit encourages students to investigate social and policy changes since the release of the film The Oasis and The Road Home White Paper in 2008. All images courtesy of Shark Island Productions.
