Pride in Practice

Celebrate identity, belonging and the power of inclusion with this collection of Foundation - Year 10 English and HPE resources, made possible by funding from QBE. Across age-appropriate learning experiences, students explore family diversity, Pride, LGBTQIA+ lived experiences and the role we can all play in creating communities where everyone feels safe, respected and valued.

From recognising that every family is unique to exploring identity through stories, practising allyship and examining the importance of belonging, the collection builds students’ understanding as they progress through school. Authentic voices and lived experiences encourage empathy and meaningful conversations, while empowering students to consider how their own words and actions can make a difference.

These resources give teachers and students practical ways to foster respect, celebrate diversity and strengthen a culture of belonging across their classrooms and school communities.
