Students will:

• understand that COP brings together countries and communities to share environmental challenges and work on solutions

• recognise that listening to diverse perspectives and sharing ideas can help create positive environmental change.Success criteria

Students can:

• explain why countries and communities meet at COP

• investigate and summarise the environmental challenges, actions and priorities of an assigned country

• represent a country during a Mock COP summit by sharing ideas and listening respectfully to other delegates

• identify how local actions and global collaboration can contribute to positive environmental change.
