Students explore authentic lived experiences of LGBTQIA+ young people to develop empathy and deepen their understanding of belonging, inclusion and wellbeing. Through collaborative inquiry, students identify the key messages within personal stories and examine how allyship and inclusive communities can positively shape people's experiences. Students then apply their learning by transforming a lived experience into the concept for a 30-second awareness campaign, communicating a powerful message that encourages others to create safe, respectful and inclusive communities.
