About World Refugee Day
World Refugee Day is celebrated by the UN and around the world on 20 June each year. In Australia, World Refugee Day (20 June) falls during Refugee Week (16 - 22 June, 2024).
During these days, we celebrate and honour people who have been forced to flee their homes, champion their right to seek safety and advocate for solutions that build economic and social inclusion.
