Enviroweek Waste Warrior

This activity has been designed to support early learning centres joining in Enviroweek. By participating in this activity, children will be given the opportunity to learn more about reducing, reusing and recycling (the “3 Rs”). Students will take action to reduce their waste footprint.
This activity is designed to help connect children to the environment through sensory and play-based learning.

Learning goals: 

• The aim of this activity is to encourage children to learn about the 3Rs - reduce, reuse and recycle. Children are asked to think creatively about how waste materials can be reused before they go into the bin.
