LifeChanger’s facilitated programs and workshops aim to empower young people (Year 5-12) to live thriving, resilient lives. The program addresses the alarming and challenging statistics that face many of today's youth and their families.
These lessons align with the Personal and Social Capabilities and the Community Health strand of the National HPE curriculum for students and have been created for Years 7 & 8. For each of LifeChanger's Five Pillars (Health, Skills, Self, Purpose, Tribe), there will be 7 lesson plans available. These lessons will feature activities to grow students’ knowledge of SEL, making them ideal for existing LifeChanger schools, or non-LifeChanger schools looking for an introduction to the program.
These lessons are aimed at assisting students to practise the skills taught during the LifeChanger workshops and further their knowledge of health and well-being concepts. These lessons can be delivered as part of your school’s well-being or pastoral program and typically run for 60 minutes each. LifeChanger schools will be provided with a guide to help teachers identify when to deliver these lessons and how to use them to suit their timetable and students. With 35 plans available, teachers can cherrypick to design a year’s worth of lessons.
