Bring First Nations voices into your classroom
This year’s theme is Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud. Fire is a symbol of connection to Country, each other and the rich tapestry of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and traditions. The theme honours the enduring strength of First Nations cultures and ignites ongoing commitment to preserving, sharing, celebrating and learning about the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth.
NAIDOC Week is celebrated by people from all walks of life, Indigenous and non‑Indigenous. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support and amplify the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
