At this activity station children explore how people travel in special vehicles to help us. This station is one of six in our Look for the Helpers series that are perfect for setting up for drop-off time or after lunch to scaffold child-centred exploration and learning.

Resources Required
- Emergency vehicle toys (ambulance, police, SES, fire trucks)
- Toy figures for role-play
- Phones (old phones that no longer work are best but toy phones work too!)
- Floor mat with roads marked (or draw a road map on large butcher's paper with roads, houses and shops marked in, and join a few together to create a floor map).
