Tips for Parents and Carers
This activity is designed to help connect children to the wonders of the natural world. It develops spatial awareness.
Before beginning this activity, prepare a ‘map’ of the outdoor area you are going to. If this is a botanic garden or zoo, you may be able to find one already made. Otherwise, create an outline of the space, and add in some key features such as paths or trees.
