At this activity station, children investigate creating rainbows through reflection and refraction. This station is one of six in our Raining Rainbows series that are perfect for setting up for drop-off time or after lunch to scaffold child-centred exploration and learning.

Resources Required
- Reflective items such as old CDs or DVDs, prisms or mirrors
- Jars of water (so that a mirror can fit inside at an angle)
- Sunlight or a white LED flashlight
- Wall to reflect light onto, or a white piece of paper.
