Activity Summary
There’s no place like home! In this activity, children will explore the idea of a home and practice their literacy skills by describing their home, drawing a representation of their home, and responding to questions about what makes their home special to them. Children will build a sense of community as they create their classbook sharing what home means to them. This is a ‘Find Out’ activity following on from reading Come Over to My House by Sally Rippin and Eliza Hull.
