    From recognising that feelings like eco-anxiety are valid and shared to exploring the beauty and importance of our ocean, students will build hope, foster resilience and develop practical strategies and agency to take action for our ocean and our planet.

Turn climate concern into climate action

More than 3 in 4 Australian young people feel anxious about climate change (Orygen Institute, 2023). As an educator, you can support students in recognising that feelings of eco-anxiety are shared and valid while building resilience, hope, agency, and action-taking to protect our ocean.

Because we care for what we love, these resources strengthen students' connections to and appreciation of our ocean, and because learning from peer role models is important, students will hear from young change makers taking action for our ocean.
