Course Summary

This microPL will help you build confidence and skills in creating immersive learning experiences and offer ways to engage students deeply. Learning can be fun, but that fun has to be considered and designed into our lessons. The benefit of this is that if it is enjoyable and immersive for students, it will likely be the same for the teacher. Creating immersive and playful learning can require some extra time, but it is so worth it in the long run and makes the job of teacher fun as well.

You will learn:

  • To consider how play-based learning and constructivist approaches can be used in primary and secondary settings.
  • To use multimodal learning to create scenarios and experiences that are playful and immersive.
  • How to incorporate stories and narratives that help connect students' learning

About 30 to 45 minutes - perfect for after work or during a spare period. You will have ongoing access via your user dashboard.
