Course Summary

If you already have a mentor, that’s amazing. If you are still looking for one, we’ll help you with that too. This course looks at why mentor relationships are so important to our professional development (both for us and our mentors), and we’ll consider together what you want out of a mentor relationship and how to achieve that, be that with your existing mentor or someone you haven’t even approached yet.

You will learn:

  • Why mentorship is important for teachers
  • How to seek out a mentor or shape your relationship with your mentor
  • To consider how a mentor will support you and your teaching

Course time:

About 30 to 45 minutes - perfect for after work or during a spare period. You will have ongoing access via your user dashboard.
