Course Summary

Establishing positive relationships with students takes time and effort - but it will pay off in your behaviour management and the academic achievement of your students. Here’s how to do it. We will consider some guidelines to follow when building rapport and some simple tasks you can complete while completing this course. You will learn about the essential qualities of strong rapport, mainly how to be consistent, open and respectful.

You will learn:

  • Guidelines for building rapport
  • Practical steps for implementing these in the classroom
  • Qualities of a good teacher student relationship
  • How to set yourself goals that improve rapport with individuals in your class.

Course time:

About 30 to 45 minutes - perfect for after work or during a spare period. You will have ongoing access via your user dashboard.
