Course Summary
This course will cover the principles and practical examples of developing classroom rules/expectations that are built on healthy relationships that minimise challenging behaviours. We will explore what your current practice is and how effective this is for every student. We explore ways to be proactive and transparent in your practice and work with, instead of against, your students.
You will learn:
- How to set standards of behaviour in your classroom and maintain them
- How to preempt behaviours and implement expectations before situations escalate
- How to set expectations of consequences for challenging behaviour in your classroom
- How to reinforce and maintain your standards in your classroom
Course time:
About 30 to 45 minutes - perfect for after work or during a spare period. You will have ongoing access via your user dashboard.
