Course Summary
Daily Self-Care for Teachers: Practical Strategies That Work is a practical course designed to support teacher wellbeing and help prevent burnout. Teaching is deeply rewarding, but it’s also emotionally and physically demanding. With long hours, heavy workloads, and constant pressure, it’s easy to put your own needs last.
This course encourages educators to prioritise self-care and develop habits that support sustainable, healthy teaching. You’ll explore why teacher wellbeing matters, how to set boundaries, and simple ways to recharge, so you can keep doing the important work you love, without burning out.
You will learn:
- What burnout really is and why so many teachers are affected by it
- What is self-care, and why is it important in avoiding burnout and thriving in the teaching profession
- Techniques for incorporating self-care into your daily life, working in a profession where others come first, most of your day
- Authentically implement gratitude and mindfulness in the classroom to not only build your self-care but to model this behaviour as well.
