Course Summary

Thinking tools help foster curiosity, concern for truth and a creative mindset. They can be used to gauge prior knowledge, dig deep into a topic and guide reflection in any subject area or year level. In this course, you will discover how to use tools that you can weave into the fabric of your curriculum to extend and deepen students’ thinking.

You will learn:

  • How to teach each element of the Critical and Creative Thinking general capability.
  • How to dig deep into topics and personal opinions.
  • How to help Year 7-12 students identify their own thinking processes.
  • How to download lesson plans containing a range of thinking tools.

Course time:

This course will take you 2 hours to complete. Enjoy it in one session or spread it out over a few weeks. You will have ongoing access via your personal dashboard.
