Cool.org recognises that students can sometimes be exposed to upsetting issues when exploring real-world topics in the classroom. Using a hopeful mindset in these moments can provide a psychological safety net for you and your students. 

The Cool.org Hope Framework includes strategies and tactics for adopting a hopeful mindset. This course will explain the benefits of hope to your students and provide practical examples of how to use our Framework in your classroom.

  • 3.5.2 Use effective classroom communication
  • 4.1.2 Support student participation

This course is not currently accredited in the ACT (TQI) or NSW (NESA). However, it can be counted towards teacher identified learning hours (ACT) or NESA PD elective hours (NSW).
