About Doug Gimesy
Doug Gimesy is a conservation and wildlife photographer with a background in zoology and a Masters in Environment and Bioethics. He has also served on the board of Environment Victoria and as a governor for WWF Australia. Today, Doug leads The Framing Effect, a science and environment-focused communication consultancy that helps people create change through powerful words and images.
Doug’s photography has been featured in National Geographic, BBC Wildlife Magazine, The New York Times, and Australian Geographic, and commissioned by the Australian Conservation Foundation, Environment Victoria, and Animals Australia. His work has also received multiple awards for excellence in conservation and wildlife photography.
