This is worksheet 1 in the lower primary phonics unit. Each worksheet introduces new letters and their phonemes with the aim of allowing students to practice how to blend and segment single-syllable consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words. It is recommended that you work through these in sequence. In worksheet 1, <s>, <a>, <t>, <p>, <i> and <n> are introduced.
