Lesson summary

Students will participate in interactive activities to explore the concept of inclusion and why it matters. They will learn from Collingwood Football Club AFL and AFLW players about the importance of inclusion. Students will work collaboratively to design an inclusion initiative for their school community.

Learning intentions

Students will:

  • explore how inclusion is built through respect, representation, and community participation.

Success criteria

Students can:

  • define inclusion and explain why it matters
  • reflect on their own role in making spaces welcoming
  • create a strategy to support inclusion in their school or community.
