Lesson summary
To coincide with the Matildas’ world cup campaign, we’ve created this lesson to get your students involved and supporting the Matildas on and off the field. Play tabletop soccer, practice collecting data and create visual displays showing results.
Learning intentions:
Students will...
- create displays of data collected in both real-time and pre-prepared.
Success criteria:
Students can...
- create simple pictograms and bar graphs to display data using single and double-digit numbers
- begin to extrapolate meaning from the graphs they have created.
