Students will learn how cyclones form and how they affect communities by exploring historical examples like Cyclone Tracy. Students will categorise short and long-term impacts on people and the environment and demonstrate their understanding by creating a ‘resilience’ news report that highlights how communities can respond and rebuild after a cyclone.
