Tips for parents and carers
If your kids are finding it difficult to fit all the enclosures on a single piece of paper, it is easier for them to measure out the right size cages, then cut these out and arrange them on another piece of paper before sticking them down.
A great way for kids to prove their learning and show understanding is to teach others. If they ask you to complete a zoo using their instructions, try making a few obvious mistakes and see if they have the vocabulary to explain and correct you.
Additional info
Learning@Home resources are designed for parents and teachers to use with children in the home environment. They can be used as stand-alone activities or built into existing curriculum-aligned learning programs. Our Learning@Home series includes two types of resources. The first are fun and challenging real-world activities for all ages, the second are self-directed lessons for upper primary and secondary students. These lessons support independent learning in remote or school settings.
