Lesson summary
Do you know how much sugar is in your foods? Much of the added sugar in our diet comes from the processed foods and drinks we consume. Go explore your pantry to find out how much sugar there is in the foods you have. Then use this information to create a poster advertising why it’s important to look closely at labels to identify the sugar content in your food.

They can be used as stand-alone activities or built into existing curriculum-aligned learning programs. Our Learning@Home series includes two types of resources. The first are fun and challenging real-world activities for all ages, the second are self-directed lessons for upper primary and secondary students. These lessons support independent learning in remote or school settings.
