Year 5 Health and Physical Education
Students can:
- transfer familiar movement strategies to different movement situations (AC9HP6M02)
- investigate how different movement concepts related to effort, space, time, objects and people can be applied to improve movement outcomes (AC9HP6M03).
Year 5 Mathematics
Students can:
- plan and conduct statistical investigations by posing questions or identifying a problem and collecting relevant data; choose appropriate displays and interpret the data; communicate findings within the context of the investigation (AC9M5ST0).
Relevant parts of Year 5 Health and Physical Education achievement standards: Students refine and modify movement skills and apply movement concepts across a range of situations. They transfer movement strategies between situations and evaluate the impact on movement outcomes.
Relevant parts of Year 5 Mathematics achievement standards: Students plan and conduct statistical investigations that collect nominal and ordinal categorical and discrete numerical data using digital tools.
