What are the Main Types of Renewable Energy?

We are all familiar with switching on a light or plugging our devices in to recharge. But where does the electricity for the light or device come from? Some of our electricity comes from renewable sources, and there are a number of different types of renewable energy, including solar, wind, hydro, biomass and geothermal.
