These resources are part of the 2040 Film Education Resources, created in collaboration with our partners GoodThing Productions and Regen Studios.

This resource package for Years 5 & 6, Exploring Energy, Food & Transport, has been designed to:

• immerse students in the documentary film 2040 through engaging with topics of transport, food and energy
• help students understand key environmental challenges facing our world today
• explore existing solutions to environmental problems related to transport, food and energy systems
• encourage critical and creative thinking about sustainable futures
• empower students to take positive action in their communities through collaborative social projects
• develop research, communication and presentation skills through hands-on activities
• foster an understanding that young people can be active participants in creating a better future

Through exploring transport options, food systems, energy sources and social action projects, students will gain valuable knowledge about sustainability while developing essential research, collaboration and creative problem-solving skills that will empower them to become environmentally conscious citizens.
