This unit, developed in partnership with Visy, focuses on closed-loop recycling and sustainable consumption habits. Students will learn about the positive impact of recycling, research recycling procedures and habits within their school, develop ideas for improvement and take action. The lesson also explores the circular economy and encourages students to develop persuasive writing skills to motivate people to adopt more sustainable consumption habits. Additionally, students will explore allegory and develop their own narratives about sustainability and recycling.
