This unit, developed in partnership with Visy, focuses on closed-loop recycling and the re-manufacture of recyclable materials into new packaging products. Students will participate in a Social Action Project to improve recycling practices within their school, investigate the environmental impacts of bottled water, explore the use of energy in separating recyclable materials, and design ways to separate recyclable materials based on their physical properties.
