This unit aims to help children understand where their food comes from by exploring the world of seeds and bees. The activities are designed to be sensory and play-based, encouraging children to engage with the natural world. Children will explore the importance of native bees, how plants grow from seeds, the different types of seeds we eat, the features of bees, how seeds grow in fruits and vegetables, and how to be safe around bees. They will also incorporate their observations and findings into art and craft activities.
