This unit consists of a series of lessons designed to be taught outdoors, aimed at Year 1 and 2 students. The lessons are focused on connecting students with nature and promoting care and conservation for the environment. The lessons cover topics such as creating guidelines for outdoor learning, the importance of trees, patterns in nature, Indigenous artwork, mapping, and poetry about trees.
